I've been in this game for years, it made me an animal
It's rules to this sh!t, I wrote me a manual

Every industry looks different from the inside. For the most profitable of industries, the insiders will gate-keep the outsiders away to keep the money for themselves.

The money today is in tech, and within the Biggest Tech companies in the world is an org that makes all the decision - Product. Product Managers have the power to direct resources, thus the power to make or break a company. With such power, comes BIG paydays.

Being an anonymous insider, I’ll teach you freely how to break in, climb the later, and thrive in the role of product management.

What’s the value prop?

My free posts are background - I educate on the role of Product Management, how it operates within the tech sphere, and how product thought is being executed everyday in the real world.

My paid posts is the dirt my execs would be pissed that I share. Highly tactical posts on how you today can execute, with personal examples shared of how I broke into and approach the job.

The first series of paid posts will be a series of “How to Break Into Product Management without a CS degree”. Each post is focused on tactical execution on aspect of landing a product role

The next series of paid posts will be about execution on the job. I’ll explain explicitly processes I’ve implemented and tactics I’ve used for success in my career.

My paid posts monthly cost is pegged to the price of a Netflix subscription. (Today, basic is $9.99).

For the price of a Netflix subscription, I will turn you into a Product Manager and get you PAID.

I also offer services.

If a product resume you need to up-level? I’ll review your resume, then talk tactics on a call.

If you’re struggling with a product problem today? I’ll hop on a call and help you put forth the game plan to solve your issues.

Cadence & Pricing

In my day to day I head up the analytics org at a startup that’s blowing up right now, so weekend are where I do most my work. I will publish one article a week. At first, it will be 3 free posts to 1 paid post. That ratio will change as more paid subscribers onboard. (Gotta give the people what they want).

Why Product Management?

I had no idea what product management was until I joined a tech org in Customer Success, and realized Product Managers made all the important decisions. As I learned more, I decided I had to break in.

Product Managers is a great role, because

  • You can be a individual contributor, and make over $200,000 annually

  • You can work remote! Tons of remote Product jobs out there, as you most directly collaborate with Engineers, who also tend to be remote these days

  • The money’s as good as engineering, but there’s no hard requirement to code!

  • No two days are the same - you own a product, and go wherever that product takes you. This could be data analysis one day, hoping on a demo call to sell the next, and designing a prototype the following day. Creatives thrive in product management.
